Yamama Cement Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SR 363.3 million ($96.9 million) in 2020, an increase of 42 percent, compared to SR 256.3 million in the year-earlier period, driven by higher sales and other income.
In Q4 2020, the cement producer’s net profit after Zakat and tax rose 46 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SR 113.7 million.
Total shareholders’ equity, excluding minority interest, edged up by 6.7 percent YoY to SR 3.88 billion during the year.
